Foodcom S.A.’s presence in Spain is much more than just a new location on the map – it is a conscious business decision that strengthens our operational capabilities throughout the Mediterranean region and in Spanish-speaking markets.
Today, the Malaga office serves as a commercial and communication hub that facilitates cooperation with partners in Spain, Portugal, Latin America, and North Africa. The proximity to international ports, well-developed infrastructure, and cultural openness of the region make Malaga a natural point of integration for our activities in Southern Europe.
Thanks to our physical presence on the Iberian market:
Our office in Malaga offers full commercial support – from raw material selection, through pricing and product consulting, to transaction finalization. We work in Spanish, English, and Portuguese.
The team is headed by Ángel Ramírez, Country Manager for Spain and Portugal. For four years, he has been developing Foodcom’s presence in the Iberian Peninsula, responsible for the supply of high-quality food, feed, and chemical raw materials.
“Malaga is not just an office – it is a vibrant hub of trade. We don’t just manage here, we build relationships, solve problems and create value for our customers every day.”
He combines commercial expertise with an excellent understanding of the business culture of the Iberian Peninsula and Latin America. Thanks to his experience in working with customers from these regions, he effectively translates his knowledge of local realities into concrete commercial strategies and the building of lasting B2B relationships.
Foodcom Malaga operates in a region that struggles with high youth unemployment, which further reinforces the social role of our office. That is why one of our goals is to support local specialists – we create jobs for people who want to develop in international trade, giving them space to learn the profession, get to know the market, and gradually enter the structures of an international organization.
We employ people from Spain, Morocco, the Philippines, and other countries—cultural diversity translates into a better understanding of our customers and greater flexibility in our operations.
Foodcom Malaga is a place where ambition meets opportunity. If you want to work in an environment that operates globally but thinks locally, we are the right choice for you.
